We have stayed here quite a few times and just love the cottage and the village. Everything you need is here. Such a wonderful fabulous place to stay. Peaceful!! x x
Fantastic location, superb accommodation and absolutely everything we needed for an extended weekend break. The cottage is ideally suited for walking, we did the Denby Dale circular route (you can walk this from the cottage) visiting many of the local attractions. We had a family gathering at Elsecar Heritage Centre which is well worth a visit (free entry). On top of all this is the icing on the cake – all the provisions that Catherine so thoughtfully provided, truly amazing. We hope to return in the future and will definitely be recommending to our friends.
Could not have asked for better accommodation!!! What an excellent little find! Such a beautifully laid out cottage, so cosy and spacious with everything you could ever want or need. Such wonderful home from home. We felt very welcomed by both Catherine and Charles and was in shock with the welcome hamper, such a delightful touch. The Yummy Yorkshire ice-cream parlour was fantastic, as was The George pub with tasty pies and pizzas. Our girls really appreciated all the indoor, outdoor and bath toys. We got lucky with all the weather and had a lovely walk doing the Denby and Cumberworth circular. The only downside was that we only stayed two nights when we all wanted longer. Thank you so much excellent value for money. Can’t wait to come back.

We all had a fantastic time and have loved our stay at Manor Farm.We visited Eureka, a local soft play centre, The Media Museum and the Foxglove Pub. All of which were brilliant. We'll be back and will be recomending the cottage to friends and family.

Fantastic cottage and great welcome. Enjoyed our 4 weeks here. Pie and Peas in the George is a great way to spend an evening. As is, infront of the fire while it snows outside. This place has been a real highlight of our trip and would recommend to all. If ever we come back to the UK this will be the first on our list of places to stay.

Fabulous and cosy, we have really felt at home here. The welcome basket was such a lovely surprise! Greeting the wildlife every morning has made us feel like we’re really in the country. Not surprisingly we had a very enjoyable stay at this charming 17th century cottage. Our grandson was just obsessed with all the animals. Can’t say enough about how lovely this little spot is – so quiet, so welcoming.

Fantastic location, superb accommodation and absolutely everything we needed for an extended weekend break. The cottage is ideally suited for walking, we did the Denby Dale circular route (you can walk this from the cottage) visiting many of the local attractions. We had a family gathering at Elsecar Heritage Centre which is well worth a visit (free entry). On top of all this is the icing on the cake – all the provisions that Catherine so thoughtfully provided, truly amazing. We hope to return in the future and will definitely be recommending to our friends.

Could not have asked for better accommodation!!! What an excellent little find! Such a beautifully laid out cottage, so cosy and spacious with everything you could ever want or need. Such wonderful home from home. We felt very welcomed by both Catherine and Charles and was in shock with the welcome hamper, such a delightful touch. The Yummy Yorkshire ice-cream parlour was fantastic, as was The George pub with tasty pies and pizzas. Our girls really appreciated all the indoor, outdoor and bath toys. We got lucky with all the weather and had a lovely walk doing the Denby and Cumberworth circular. The only downside was that we only stayed two nights when we all wanted longer. Thank you so much excellent value for money. Can’t wait to come back.

We all had a fantastic time and have loved our stay at Manor Farm.We visited Eureka, a local soft play centre, The Media Museum and the Foxglove Pub. All of which were brilliant. We'll be back and will be recomending the cottage to friends and family.

Fantastic cottage and great welcome. Enjoyed our 4 weeks here. Pie and Peas in the George is a great way to spend an evening. As is, infront of the fire while it snows outside. This place has been a real highlight of our trip and would recommend to all. If ever we come back to the UK this will be the first on our list of places to stay.
The boys enjoyed the animals and the sledge and insist on a 5 star rating.

Fabulous and cosy, we have really felt at home here. The welcome basket was such a lovely surprise! Greeting the wildlife every morning has made us feel like we’re really in the country. Especially love the alpacas. Plenty of nearby trials to get lost in – literally!!! Will defiantly be spreading the secret of this beautiful spacious cottage.
